Finding the right jumper size is not easy: You have to pay attention to the collar size, the bust size and the waist size, so the sweater has the desired fit and is not too tight or wide. On top of that, there are different size specifications that you first have to find your way around. But with the right size chart for the desired garment and the measurements of the body, everyone succeeds.

What size is 54 for jumpers?
The clothing size 54 designates the size XL for sweaters. This international size means "extra large". It is especially suitable for men with a bust size of 107-110cm, a waist size of 97-100cm and a collar size of 41/42cm.
What size is S for men's sweaters?
The international size S for sweaters is the clothing size 48, so this sweater in size "small" should fit you if your bust measures 95-98cm and your waist 82-86cm. On the usual sweater size scale in Germany, S corresponds to the collar size 37/38cm.

What size is L for men's sweaters?
The international size L, also known as "large", refers to the clothing size 52 for men's sweaters, where your bust should measure 103-106cm and your waist 92-96cm. For the collar, S corresponds to a width of 39/40cm. A sweater in this size you can also wear "oversized", so just for your body 1-2 sizes too large, so that it lies loosely on the body.
What size is M for jumpers?
The international size M describes the clothing size 50. The M stands for "medium". Here you should have a bust size of 99-102cm and a waist size of 87-91cm, so that the men's sweater fits you perfectly. Also, the collar size for size M is 39/40cm just like size L.
What size is 4XL for men sweaters?
The size 4XL can be converted to the clothing size 62. Here, your bust size should be 123-126cm and your waist size should be 115-119cm. Also, the collar size is 46-47cm. However, men's sweaters of this size can also be worn as oversize sweaters, that is loose on the body.

How to measure your body correctly?
- The best way to find out the collar size is to use a so-called tailor's tape measure. Stand up straight and put the tape measure around your neck, preferably at the level of the Adam's apple. Make sure that the tape measure is continuous and smooth.
- The bust size is best measured at the widest part of the chest, at the level of the nipples. Again, stand straight and upright and put the tape measure around you. Make sure that the tape measure lies smoothly.
- The waist size is measured at the narrowest part of the torso. Stand upright and put the tape measure around you. Make sure that the tape measure lies smoothly.
Tip: If you don't have a tailor's tape measure, you can also simply use a string by placing it around the desired area just like a tape measure and marking the measured width on the string. You can then use a ruler to measure your width from the beginning of the string to the marked point.
