Making a virtue out of necessity - according to this motto, the company Hatico from Bavaria, known for its shirts, converted part of its production to make fashionable face masks under its brand Pure.
3000 Pure masks have already been produced from functional shirt fabric. The range includes various washable and reusable models, which stand out from other suppliers due to their fashionable fabrics with printed patterns.

TRIGEMA produces two versions of a classic, white mouth mask made of 50% cotton / 50% polyester (2-ply). One variant has fabric straps as closure, which are tied behind the head. Seidensticker makeshift face masks
The traditional German brand Seidensticker from Bielefeld is now also producing mouth and nose masks with part of its own ultra-modern production facilities in Vietnam. The reusable masks are washable at 60 degrees and are made of 100% cotton.
Hugo Boss face masks
Hugo Boss also wants to support with the production of makeshift face masks. As you could read on the company's facebook page, the Metzingen-based textile brand does not plan to produce and sell community masks for consumers. Instead, 180,000 washable, non-reusable face masks made of 100% cotton will be produced and donated to public institutions to help in the fight against Corona.
efixelle respiratory masks Made in Germany
The initiatives of the German textile industry to provide German private customers and authorities with masks aim at the production of textile mouth and nose masks, also called community
masks, in most of the efixelle medical respirator cases. Medical respiratory masks are withheld from qualified personnel in medical facilities. An exception in this respect are the masks from Efix Tricot in Hechingen, which are certified as medical products. Due to the cooperation with a Chinese membrane manufacturer, the reusable, washable efix respiratory protection masks are virus filtering in both directions, i.e. during inhalation and exhalation. This is because two external, air-permeable warp-knitted layers of the efix respirators cover the special, central virus membrane, which filters out a large proportion of the viruses when breathing in.
