How to attach cufflinks?     

1. First you should put on the shirt to be able to attach the cufflinks well.

4. Depending on the type of cufflink you have, you can either turn it to lock it in place.

How do you fold a pocket square?    

There are different folding techniques for the pocket square

The Presidential Fold or Classic Flat.

1. To do this, place your scarf on a clean and smooth surface and fold it in the middle, creating a sharp edge. So now the cloth is only half the size.
2. Lay the pocket square vertically in front of you. Now take the lower part of the cloth and place it on top of the upper one, but only so far that a small piece of cloth is visible when it is in the breast pocket.
3. So put your folded cloth in the breast pocket and smooth the top edge with your hand.

The One Corner Up folding method

1. Lay your scarf on a clean and smooth surface and fold it in half to make a triangle.
2. Now fold one corner of the long side of the triangle inward. Then stroke the edge with your hand.
3. Repeat step 3 with the other corner.
4. Now tuck your folded scarf into your breast pocket and smooth it out with your hand so the edges are sharp.

The Two Corner Up folding method

1. Lay your scarf on a clean and smooth surface and fold it slightly diagonally in the middle, creating two triangles.
2. Now fold one corner of the long side inward. Then stroke the edge with your hand.
3. Repeat this step for the other corner.
4. Now tuck your scarf into your breast pocket and smooth it out with your hand.

The Three Corner Up Fold

1. Lay your scarf on a clean and smooth surface and fold the scarf slightly diagonally in the middle, so that you have two overlapping triangles, which are just barely apart at the tip.
2. Now fold the left corner of the long side of the triangle diagonally upwards so that you get a third tip.
3. Fold the right corner down to get a stable base.
4. Now tuck your scarf into your breast pocket and make sure it fits neatly.

The Casual Fold or Puff Fold.

1. Lay your scarf on a clean and smooth surface.
2. Place two fingers of your right hand in the center of the cloth and lift it up.
3. Now grasp the cloth lifted with one hand with the thumb and index finger of your left hand. Now use your right hand to pull the cloth out of the grip of your left hand up to about three quarters.
4. Tuck it a little and put it in the breast pocket.

When to wear which folding of the pocket square?

The presidential fold is the most elegant folding technique and is therefore ideal for formal occasions. The best choice here is also a pocket square in white. The One Corner Up folding technique is simple, yet elegant and can therefore be worn to formal occasions as well as to a business meeting. Solid colored pocket squares work best here. Slightly less formal than the One Corner Up folding style is the Two Corner Up folding style. However, you can still wear these for formal affairs. The Three Corner Up folding style resembles a crown because of its shape, adding an elegant touch to your outfit. The Casual fold style adds volume and is usually asymmetrical. It is therefore perfect for informal occasions like a walk to the office. Here you can then also use a silk pattern pocket square.
