The jeans have 2 pockets on the back and 2 on the front. On the right front there is also a smaller pocket, which used to store watches.

The history of jeans
The first jeans were born in the 19th century. At that time, jeans were certainly not intended as a fashion item. Workers had to work in the pants. At that time it was still a straight cut and no one thought about fits. In the 19th century, many Europeans moved to the USA. So did the Strauss brothers. Levi Strauss thought he could make money from the men who worked in the mines. Around 1853, Levi set up a factory in San Francisco to make pants for the prospectors. This was not yet crowned with success, so Levi switched to a sturdier fabric: the Serge de Nimes fabric. This was soon called "denim" by the Americans. There seems to be a weak point in the construction, and the trouser pockets tear quickly. In 1872, Levi meets Jacob Davis. Davis has a method for making pants sturdier, and tries it out on Levi's pants. The classic rivets you see on the corners of today's jeans are his work. Soon the logo was designed by sewing two horses on the back of the pants. This is still the "Levi's" logo today. Nowadays, jeans are indispensable from the closet.
